Cuba Baseball Tours
Who we are
Cuba Travel Adventures (CTA) and Caribbean Baseball Tours (CBT) provide youth and adult travel groups with high quality customized travel experiences throughout the Caribbean. For Cuba travel, CTA operates as an agent in conjunction with a longstanding official U.S. Government People-to-People licensed Cuba tour organization that has provided over 200 international travel experiences for American students and adults over the last 15 years.
CTA and CBT are headed by Cary and Manny Kopstein who have extensive world travel credentials dating back to the late-1970's in Asia/Pacific, Europe, and Central and South America. For baseball, Manny has organized U.S. Government (OFAC) licensed travel to Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
What we do
Each small group and team trip to Cuba and the Caribbean is individually customized to suit the needs of the group and parameters of the U.S. People to People license. CBT has extensive contacts with Cuban athletic organizations and baseball teams throughout the island together with baseball games organizers in the Dominican Republic. A primary focus of CBT Cuba travel adventures is the close interaction between American and Cuban youth and the giving-back to the Cuban people through donations of medicines, school supplies, baby accessories and other hard-to-get staples that we take for granted. It is through human interaction and giving that American athletes gain not only community service experiences but also a sense of the importance of giving back. Hopefully, through giving to others practiced on these trips lifelong habits can be learned of benefiting the less fortunate.
CBT, CTA and its associates bring many years of rich cultural travel background to every trip. All trips are custom and are all-inclusive of round-trip travel from major U.S. airports to the Caribbean, hotels, transportation, guiding, most meals, fees and include the personal participation of American trip organizers to oversee the highest possible quality travel experiences.
Who we do it for
The local community
Caribbean Baseball Tours trips are planned in coordination with athletic directors and baseball coaches at high schools and colleges throughout the United States.
The international community
Community Service is a vital component of every CBT baseball experience, requiring participants to collect donations of specified baseball gear, medicines and other gifts that will improve the lives of Cubans and Dominicans. In 2014 CBT collected 1510 items of gear and 50 pounds of medicines and took part in personally delivering the items to youngsters, families and with assistance of medical doctors in the island nations.

This trip was the most amazing experience I think of my life. - Z.C.
Testimonials
To the Marin Baseball Cuba 2014 players, coaches, managers, and investors: Ahhh…there was Jake, looking bedraggled coming through customs, but with a very big smile on his face. Yes, like many of you, we got him home, nudged him into the shower, feed him a dozen hamburgers and tucked him into bed. Monday morning, he bounded out the door proudly wearing his grey 2014 Caribbean Baseball Tour shirt. We promptly got into our hazmat suits and attacked his luggage and baseball bag eagerly awaiting the stories he promised to regale us with that evening. Well, it was worth the wait…they were wonderful, heartwarming, educational, action packed and down right exciting. We laughed, we shed a tear and we smiled too!

I never knew how lucky we are to have what we have and now I know. Giving Cuban kids what we were able to give them made me so happy. The joy on the faces of kids when I gave them baseball cards and when we gave out our gear and equipment I won't ever forget - Z.K.
My highlight was giving the medicines that Cubans can't get or have to pay more for than their salary and seeing how desperate is the need for medicines that we can get pretty easy and take for granted. Beating the Cuban older team and the Academy team in the D.R. 1-0 was probably my best sports experience I'll remember - ever! - B.R.
Thanks for giving these kids this amazing experience!
